Coyotes

While coyotes are not a threat to humans, they occasionally prey on small domestic animals.

To keep pets safe, supervise small dogs and cats outside and install coyote-proof fencing around your yard or kennel.

If you see a coyote, shout or make loud noises to frighten it away. Then take note of the location and behavior of the animal, and report the sighting using EP See Click Fix.

This reporting system is a service to residents and is not for emergency use. If you feel threatened please call 911. If you are reporting an aggressive or injured coyote, contact Animal Control at 952-949-6200.

All coyote sightings remain "open" so the public can see where they have been reported throughout the community on the EP See Click Fix map.
