Eden Prairie has 4,500 acres of open space and wetlands, including 17 lakes and more than 100 ponds. With so much natural habitat, wildlife is abundant in our City.

When this wildlife inevitably takes residence in our yards, however, it can cause problems or concerns for residents. Here are some of the most frequent wildlife sightings reported to the City's Animal Control Unit, including information and resources for mitigating the issues they cause.
