Flying Cloud Drive Dog Park

This fenced area includes a section for small or fragile dogs, in addition to a larger area for big dogs. The park is located on the curve on Flying Cloud Drive (along Highway 212) less than a mile south of Shady Oak Road.

Staring Lake Park

Available mid-March–December
Located adjacent to the Staring Lake Archery Range, the 5.7 acres of fenced area offers spacious woods, an open area and natural walking paths. This park closes after the first sufficient snow fall of the year to utilize the area as a Nordic ski trail; and reopens in the spring after snow thaw.

Dogs of all sizes are welcome at the off-leash areas, as long as they are:

• Leashed while entering and exiting the off-leash area
• Don’t exhibit aggressive behavior, in which case they must be removed immediately
• Not aggressive or sick
• Under voice or whistle control at all times

Dog owners are welcome at the off-leash areas, as long as you:

• Are over age 12
• Have a leash available for each dog at all times
• Closely supervise your dogs and keep them within view
• Handle no more than two dogs
• Clean up after your dog and dispose of waste properly
• Dispose of garbage of any kind where dogs can reach it
• Stay off agility equipment
• Abide by park rules prohibiting glass containers, smoking, female dogs in season, bikes or unauthorized motorized equipment
• Understand that, by law, you are responsible for damage and injuries inflicted by your dog

For safety reasons, children ages 6 and younger should remain outside of the off-leash area. Older children are welcome at the off-leash areas, as long as they:

• Are closely supervised by an adult
• Refrain from running or screaming
• Agree to not pass out treats to dogs other than their own
• Get permission from the owner before approaching other dogs

Bryant Lake Regional Park

This 9.3-acre site has a separate area for small dogs and requires the purchase of a daily or annual pass from Three Rivers Park District.
