Regulations and Enforcement
A majority of the laws enforced by the Eden Prairie Police Department are defined in state statute.
The Minnesota Legislature website allows you to look up current statutes as well as track bills that are being considered by the legislature.
Additional regulations are adopted by the City Council in the form of ordinances, which together form the Eden Prairie City Code. These ordinances provide guidelines for the community, including security alarm requirements, animal control regulations, juvenile curfew rules, parking restrictions and more.
