Race Equity Implementation Progress

The City’s Race Equity Action Team meets regularly and is comprised of several staff members from every City department.

Since 2022, the team has worked to guide implementation of the Race Equity Report recommendations and integrate equity and inclusion principles into all of the City's operations, projects and services. The team's focus has evolved to focus on cultural education and identifying opportunities to increase the cultural competency of all City employees.
