Crime Alert Update: Door-to-Door Consumer Scams
On Wednesday, Feb. 13, the Eden Prairie Police Department received notification from Comcast cable company, regarding the potential door-to-door scam reported to have occurred in Eden Prairie on Friday, Feb. 8. According to Comcast, an internal investigation revealed the visit to an Eden Prairie resident’s home on Friday, Feb. 8, was conducted by a legitimate contractor of the company following up on a debt collection.
