Update: Arrest Made in Suspicious Death Investigation
Eden Prairie Police arrested Nathan Alan Foth for theft of a motor vehicle taken from a home in Eden Prairie last month. Foth has been charged with second-degree murder related to the death of the vehicle's owner.

Statement: Officer Involved Shooting Investigation
On Saturday, June 20 at approximately 3 a.m., Eden Prairie Police Sergeant Lonnie Soppeland initiated a traffic stop, which led to a pursuit and arrest in the area of Eden Prairie Road and North Lund Road. During the incident, Soppeland’s duty weapon was discharged, striking the suspect in the arm.
