Car Seat Clinic
The Police Department is offering a free car seat clinic Saturday, Sept. 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire Station #1; no appointment needed. Certified car seat technicians will check car seats for proper installation. Be sure to bring your car seat, manual and child to the clinic.
Mayoral Candidate Forum: The Environment and the Economy
On Monday, Oct. 1 from 7 to 8 p.m. in the City Center Heritage Rooms, mayoral candidates will discuss environmental sustainability and economic development. The public is invited to hear the candidates' viewpoints on local issues and ask questions. The forum is hosted by Conservation Minnesota and the Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce. Tom Horner will be the moderator.
Fall Into Fitness
Stop by the Community Center Fall into Fitness open house Saturday, Oct. 6, 8 a.m.–noon. Participate in sampler classes of new group fitness offerings, tour the state-of-the-art facility, meet instructors and much more. Tours are available every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and childcare is available for a fee.
Fall Harvest Celebration
Enjoy the historic Riley-Jacques Farmstead, family friendly activities, art projects, pumpkin decorating and live music Saturday, Oct. 6 from 2 to 5 p.m at the free Fall Harvest Celebration. Tour the historic Dorenkemper House, courtesy of the Eden Prairie Historical Society.
