Subscribe to a renewable energy source by Oct. 11, 2024, to help support Eden Prairie's climate action goals, and for a chance to win an e-Bike!

Eden Prairie's Climate Action Plan aims to achieve community-wide carbon neutrality by 2050. To help meet this goal, the City is challenging residents to subscribe to renewable energy programs this fall.

Thanks in part to a donation from Scheels, one randomly drawn participant will win an Electra Cruiser Go! Step-Thru Electric Bike valued at $1,200!

Subscribe to a renewable energy program through your utility provider for a small monthly fee:

Xcel Energy Programs

Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative Programs (view under "Wind/Renewable Options")
Subscribe to a community solar garden and save up to 15% on your energy bill every month, there are several regional solar garden options available
Install solar panels on your home, learn how to get started at CleanEnergyResourceTeams.org/simple-steps-solar

How to Enter Prize Drawing

Submit the challenge entry form by Oct. 11 for a chance to win the e-Bike!

Both new and existing renewable energy users are eligible to participate.

Contest Rules

Eligibility

Must be Eden Prairie resident
Must be 18 years of age or older
One entry per household
City of Eden Prairie full-time, part-time and seasonal staff, City Council members and City commission members, and persons living in the same household of such employees, Council members and commission members are not eligible to enter or win
New and existing renewable energy program subscribers are eligible
Eligible participants will be entered into random drawing to select winner
Entry form must by submitted by 4:30 p.m. Oct. 11, 2024

Prize Drawing and Winner Notification

City of Eden Prairie will select one (1) winning entry at random
Winner must provide proof of Eden Prairie address and proof of participation (utility bill, community solar contract or photos/permit/contract for rooftop solar) to claim prize
Prize is an Electra Cruiser Go! Step-Thru Electric Bike valued at $1,200
Prize cannot be exchanged for monetary value
Prize winner will be notified by Oct. 16, 2024
Winner will be notified using contact information provided in contest entry form and must claim prize at the City Center within 30 days
