The Minnesota River Vista evokes awe through its incredible beauty. It is both immense in its expanse, and delightfully alive with its teaming wildlife and flora. Playing in this contrast, the artwork magnifies elements from the greater landscape to offer an impression of their own immensity—both in size and importance.

Adding in imaginary elements enhances the whimsical nature of the design and seeks to transform the tunnel into a space that momentarily suspends reality and evokes feelings of childlike wonder. It is with this mindset that the artist hopes viewers experience and respect the true beauty of the vista just beyond.

This mural is a permanent installation.
