Recovery Assistance Program

Police Department LogoThe Eden Prairie Recovery Assistance Program (RAP) provides support and financial assistance to people seeking drug or alcohol treatment.

To become a participant in the Recovery Assistance Program, an individual must be an Eden Prairie resident seeking treatment. Depending on an individual’s needs, Eden Prairie Police may provide a $3,000 scholarship toward treatment programs or provide other resources to assist with recovery.

How it Works

  • Participants must fill out a scholarship application and meet the minimum qualifying criteria. The scholarship application includes basic information and requires a statement of need.
  • After an application is received, the applicant will be screened by the EPPD's social worker and RAP administrators for approval. This screening is not for the purpose of disqualifying applicants, rather it provides an opportunity for program administrators to provide additional support if needed.

The program is funded through a combination of donations from the Eden Prairie Crime Prevention Fund and available grant funding.
