Neighborhood Police Officer Program

To help officers and residents get to know each other and to make it easier to solve neighborhood issues, Eden Prairie Police designates officers to specific neighborhoods in the City.

Neighborhood Police Officers (NPOs) serve as the primary EPPD contact for community groups, neighborhood associations, businesses and residents within their assigned neighborhoods.

How can my NPO help?

If your neighborhood has ongoing traffic or safety concerns, or you would like an officer to attend a neighborhood block party, homeowners association meeting or another important event, email us! Our NPOs want to get to know you and your neighborhood.

Contact Your NPO

If you would like to work with the officer assigned to your neighborhood on a non-emergency issue, email NPO@edenprairie.org.

Please note, due to rotating schedules, it could take up to three days for a response.

This program does not take the place of emergency response or other routine calls for service. In the event of an emergency, or if you wish to file a police report, please call 911.
