Eden Prairie is hosting its second marking event Thursday, May 19 from 2–6 p.m. at the City’s Maintenance Facility (15150 Technology Drive). The event is limited to 24 vehicles and is for Eden Prairie residents only. Reservations are required; drive-ups will not be accepted.

To reserve your spot, call the EPPD at 952-949-6200 during business hours. You must provide your name, phone number and an email address. Registration will be open until the slots are full.

Registered participants are required to sign a liability waiver which will be emailed to them. The person signing the waiver must be the registered owner of the vehicle.

Each participant will receive a window cling stating the EPPD has marked the vehicle's catalytic converter.

The City is also participating in the State of Minnesota's Catalytic Converter Theft Prevention Program Pilot which gives vehicle owners the ability to self-apply permanent, unique labels to their catalytic converters.

Quantities are limited and the kits are available for Eden Prairie residents only at the EPPD front desk during business hours. Before arriving to claim a kit, you are encouraged to take a photo of your vehicle’s VIN and license plate. Front desk staff will assist you with the required registration form.
