Tennis Court Rules
Be courteous and allow others to play after one hour. No bikes, dogs, skates or rollerblades are allowed on the tennis courts. No private lessons may be offered without prior authorization.
Junior tennis rackets can be purchased online for summer tennis lessons.
Rackets must be ordered two weeks before the first lesson. Please provide the student’s height in inches. Look for more information when registering.
Choosing Correct Tennis Racket
- If a child is 5 years old or younger and is 44 inches or shorter, a 19- or 21-inch racket is a good fit
- If a child is age 6 to 8 and is 45–49 inches tall, select a 23-inch racket
- For children age 8 to 10 with a height between 50 and 55 inches, a 25-inch racket is appropriate
- A child can comfortably handle a 26-inch racket if he/she is older than 10 and taller than 55 inches
