A designated alcohol provider may be used for events to serve beer. Food truck vendors, except for the authorized alcohol provider, may not sell alcohol.

Other beverage sales such as canned/bottled water, soda, lemonade or prepared beverages such as lemonade, iced tea or coffee may be offered for sale along with the food menu items.

No glass bottles may be served to patrons.

Be prepared for all types of weather — all vendors will be contacted via email or phone in the morning on the day of the event if the event is canceled for inclement weather. More detailed times will be provided upon acceptance to each event.

Vendors must keep their areas clean and presentable during the event, and completely clean these areas after event.

Care must be taken to avoid spills and stains. Trash must be placed in appropriate containers and dumpsters. Boxes must be broken down and placed in recycling dumpsters.

NO electricity will be provided unless requested, and it is not guaranteed.

Please review the following requirements from Hennepin County, obtain any necessary licenses and make any changes for food codes before the event:

• Any mobile food unit (truck, trailer, booth) currently licensed by the MN Dept. of Health (MDH) or a city must now be licensed with Hennepin County if operating in the county’s licensing jurisdiction. This does not apply to mobile food units that have a MN Dept. of Agriculture license — Hennepin county will honor these licenses.
• Licenses must be original and posted on site at the event
• CFPM required (new Food Code requirement)
• MN Food Code 4626.1860 “the entire operation shall be accomplished from a single, self-contained unit”
• Mobile Food Vendor Permit must be completed/paid for/submitted and fire inspection onsite must be completed prior to sales on event day

Vendors must provide a Certificate of Insurance in an amount not less than $1-million naming the City of Eden Prairie as an additional (secondary) insured.

The City of Eden Prairie assumes no responsibility for any financial loss, theft or injury.

Vendors shall indemnify and hold harmless the City of Eden Prairie from any action, suit, claims, payments, costs or damages which may be brought against them arising from participation in a City event.

Parking is available near the event location. All vehicles must be cleared from the vending area and parked in available spots during event hours.

Once the event starts, this parking lot is not open to vehicle traffic. Make sure you have all supplies needed.

All trucks must have a fire extinguisher. A fire inspector or Fire Department staff member will inspect any food truck participating in City events.

Vendors may only sell items submitted on their menu list and items must be approved by the City of Eden Prairie.

Vendors have 1 hour and 45 minutes to set up and must be ready for business before the scheduled event start time.

Vendors are responsible for providing their own equipment (i.e., cart, tent, table, chairs), offloading equipment and setup/take down.

Vendors are not permitted to pack up and leave until after the event has ended, even if you have sold out.

Signage must be professional. The City reserves the right to remove inappropriate signage.

Smoking or vaping any substance, or use of tobacco products is not permitted in Eden Prairie parks.

Please plan accordingly based on your experience in other local food truck events of similar size.

All utensils, cups, plates, bowls, etc. used for serving during City of Eden Prairie events must be compostable.

Potable water may not be provided. Please request access if needed. Vendors must supply their own containers.
