The Facilities Division is responsible for the building operations and long-term maintenance of the 30 major facilities owned by the City.

The Division provides these services in a wide variety of disciplines including heating and air conditioning, lighting and electrical, cleaning, lawn care and snow removal, pool and ice rink maintenance, elevator and roof maintenance, just to name a few.

The facilities include the Art Center, City Center, Community Center, Outdoor Center, Senior Center, Maintenance Facility, the Fire Stations, Eden Prairie Liquor stores, historical buildings and park shelter buildings. The operations and maintenance of these facilities is performed by a combination of City employees and contractors. The Facilities Division is also responsible for managing construction, remodeling and capital projects in these facilities.

It is the goal of the Facilities Division to protect the investment the City and community has made in its facilities, and to ensure that City facilities are attractive and well maintained.
