Mark Freiberg was re-elected to a second four-year term as a member of the Eden Prairie City Council in the 2022 election.

Freiberg served on the City's Heritage Preservation Commission from 2013 to 2016, and the Planning Commission from 2016 to 2018. His involvement in the community has also included the Eden Prairie Community Foundation, Historical Society and Rotary Club.

Freiberg spent 30 years in the real estate and housing finance industries and attended Normandale Community College. He and his family have lived in Eden Prairie since 1981.
