W.O.J.G. Donald W. Doherty

W.O.J.G. Donald W. DohertyDonald Doherty enlisted in the U.S. Army on Oct. 18, 1943. He served with the 9316th Technical Ordnance Department, stationed in New Guinea.

He became a commissioned Warrant Officer Junior Grade on Aug. 8, 1945 until his discharge on Feb. 8, 1946.

Doherty was awarded the U.S. Army Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic - Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze star (battle), World War II Victory Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Marksman Badge with Rifle Bar and the Honorable Service Lapel Pin.
