Master Sergeant Gregory A. Beauvais

Master Sergeant Gregory A. Beauvais served as a member of the Marine Security Guard Battalion in the Marine Corps from July 1996 to November 2001. During this period, he served as chief instructor, marine security guard school and as the detachment commander for the marine security guard detachment Moscow, Russia.

Whether assigned to a tank unit leader, instructing marines at marine security guard school or leading a marine security guard detachment overseas, Master Sergeant Beauvais tried to instill those qualities of leadership, humility and dedication that he, through the course of his career, came to cherish.

Mr. Beauvais completed the final seven years of his 22-year active duty career on the marine security guard program working in conjunction with the Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security at American Embassies abroad. He served as a detachment commander in San Jose, Costa Rica, Beijing, China and Moscow.
