Conrad Cox served in the U.S. Air Force as an electronics instructor at Scott Air Force Base (AFB), Ill., and Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Miss.

He taught Basic Electronics, Airborne Radio and Radar Navigation, Theory of Operation, Maintenance and Repair, as well as ALAS equipment.

He was selected as Instructor of the Month in December 1958. He served from January 1956 to December 1959.
