Kenneth Royal Jarrett was born in Eden Prairie on Oct. 10, 1919, to William R. and Florence Jarrett. His siblings were Joyce and Marion.

Kenneth served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and died during the infamous “Bataan Death March," after being listed as Missing in Action (MIA) on May 6, 1942.
