Played with a set of 152 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols, Mahjongg is commonly played by four players (with some three-player variations). Similar to rummy, it is a game of skill, strategy and calculation that involves a certain degree of chance.

Wednesdays

Mexican Train is a fun dominoes game that works best with four or more players. Volunteers are available to teach the game.

Fridays

Monday afternoons,

12:30 p.m.

Challenge your mind at a game of pinochle. Call the Senior Center if interested in playing. Volunteers are available to teach new players. 

Improve your bidding, play and defense in a learning situation. Each class includes a question-and-answer period and approximately one-and-a-half hours of actual play guided by the instructor.

Prerequisite: Knowledge of the basics of the game or completion of Book One “Bidding” by Audrey Grant.

Wednesdays

Hold ‘em or fold ‘em? Make that call confidently as you join others in Texas Hold ‘Em poker. Players should have a good understanding of the game.
