Denise earned her first fitness certification, indoor cycling, in 1998. After several years of teaching cycle, she discovered yoga as a way to balance her workouts and prevent injuries. She earned her 200-hour certification as a yoga instructor in 2003, followed by her 500-hour and is currently working on her 1,000-hour.
As a natural complement to her yoga and fitness trainings, Denise became a certified stretch specialist through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). Her Stretch Studio session goals are to help clients with their specific areas of concern. Denise combines her experiences in injury prevention with the science of stretching to keep her clients moving and at optimal performance at any age.
