This morning EPPD officers and EPFD firefighters, along with Parks and Recreation Department and Hennepin County Library staff, hosted this summer’s first Pop-Up Splash Pad event at Nesbitt Preserve Park.
At this free event, participants played spikeball with officers, got sprayed by a fire hose, explored a police squad car and checked out library books, among other activities.
The City is hosting two additional Pop-Up Splash Pad events this summer: Wednesday, July 17, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at Edenvale Park and Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 1–3 p.m. at Crestwood Park. No RSVP is necessary – just show up for the fun! We hope to see you there!
