Spring Road Resurfacing

Beginning Monday, May 20, Hennepin County is resurface Spring Road (County Road 4) in Eden Prairie from Flying Cloud Drive (County Road 61) to Hilltop Road. Work is expected to take less than two weeks, weather dependent. Learn about current and upcoming road construction in Eden Prairie at edenprairie.org/InfrastructureProjects.

County Commissioner District 6 Special Election Results

Preliminary Eden Prairie results (precincts 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8 only):

  • 5.5% of registered voters cast ballots in Tuesday's Special Election for Hennepin County Commissioner District 6
  • 549 voters cast ballots at six precincts in the City in District 6; 63 voters cast absentee ballots
  • The busiest precincts on Election Day were Wooddale Church with 146 voters (precinct 7) and Eden Prairie Assembly of God with 113 voters (precinct 2)
  • 44 residents voted absentee in person at City Center May 6–13
  • The next election is the Aug. 13 State Primary

Schooner Days

The Eden Prairie Lions Club annual Schooner Days event is featuring a variety of new food trucks and vendors, and free vision screenings by Lions KidSight USA for children from 6 months through 16 years. The vendor marketplace will include specialty foods, gifts, crafts, art, jewelry, accessories and more for sale. The event will also include carnival rides and activities for all ages, games, bingo and pull tabs in the Beer Garden. The three-day event takes place at Round Lake Park May 31–June 1.
