Sustainable Eden Prairie

Sustainable Eden Prairie is an ongoing effort focusing on education and implementation of sustainable practices to protect the environment and natural resources our community enjoys.

Building upon the success of the 20-40-15 initiative, the City is leading by example and providing a foundation for residents and businesses to carry out sustainable practices in four areas — energy, landscape, waste and water.

Sustainable Eden Prairie Events

Soccer Gear Swap

Swap gently used soccer gear for items new-to-you. No donation is necessary to shop the swap; take or bring as much as you want!

All donations must be free of stains and rips and in usable condition. Leftover items will be donated.

Hosted by the Eden Prairie Sustainability Commission, Eden Prairie Soccer Club (EPSC) and Eden Prairie Soccer Association (EPSA).

Can't make the swap but have items to donate? Drop your gear in a collection box near Miller Park Field 11 during EPSC tryouts July 27–28, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Accepted items (child and adult sizes):

  • Bags
  • Balls
  • Cleats
  • Futsal shoes
  • Goalie gloves
  • Jerseys
  • Pennies
  • Referee gear
  • Shin guards 
  • Shorts
  • Small goals (PUGG type, not large goals)
  • Socks
