Sustainable Eden Prairie
Sustainable Eden Prairie is an ongoing effort focusing on education and implementation of sustainable practices to protect the environment and natural resources our community enjoys.
Building upon the success of the 20-40-15 initiative, the City is leading by example and providing a foundation for residents and businesses to carry out sustainable practices in four areas — energy, landscape, waste and water.
Sustainable Eden Prairie Events
Pollinator Plantings Workshop

- Location: Virtual
This virtual workshop offers tips to create a haven for bees, butterflies and other pollinators, especially the endangered Rusty patched bumblebee and Monarch butterfly.
Learn about plant selection and placement techniques. Meet one-on-one and in small groups with experts to get feedback on project plans and learn about local resources for getting projects in the ground.
Presented by Metro Blooms on behalf of Blue Thumb, and supported by the City of Eden Prairie.
Free for Eden Prairie residents; $15 for non-residents.
