The Eden Prairie Veterans Memorial is located in Purgatory Creek Park and was dedicated on Veterans Day 2008.
While the City of Eden Prairie owns the park and is the memorial’s custodian, a committee of dedicated veterans envisioned, designed and commissioned this tribute to all service men and women who have served or given their lives for our country.
Add a Name
Remember and honor those who served our country by adding their names to the Veterans Memorial.
The service members listed need not have served directly in a named war or conflict, but must have served in the U.S. military. Names are engraved in the granite walls of the memorial.
All veterans are welcome and are not required to be from Eden Prairie to be included in this memorial.
The Veterans Wall of the Memorial honors individuals who have served in the U.S. military and the Honor Wall pays tribute to those from Eden Prairie who have laid down their life in order to ensure our freedom.
The cost to add a name to the memorial is $300.

Memorial Design and Installation
Worldclass sculptor and veteran Neil Brodin, of Brodin Studios, designed the “Combat Rescue” and “World Peace” bronze features of the Eden Prairie Veterans Memorial.
The memorial was designed by SRF Consulting Group and constructed by Blackstone Contractors, both Minnesota-based businesses. The memorial was built out of local Mesabi Black Granite provided by Cold Spring Granite.
